At Minnesota Molding, we specialize in custom plastic blow molding services. We manufacture and assemble primarily high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic products. Our team works with both recycled and virgin resins for better sustainability. As we purchase HDPE in bulk, we’re able to pass those price savings on to our customers. 

Through the use of accumulator head extrusion blow molding machines, we manufacture hollow plastic products ranging from 1lb to 20lbs. We have the capacity for medium to large components, capable of creating blow-molded parts up to 50 inches in length. For volume, our largest product is currently 60 gallons.

In addition to manual processes, Minnesota Molding uses automation for greater precision, efficiency, uniformity, and production speed. We utilize innovative robotic technology like our 6-axis robotic arms to automate processes like drilling, trimming, cutting, and in-mold inserting. This technology is both safer for our operators and allows us to offer a better price to our clients.

Completing these services in-house makes us your one-stop shop for accurate, repeatable manufacturing. We eliminate the need to send your parts to a separate company for cutting and drilling. We offer comprehensive service options, faster turn times, and consistent quality, all supported by automation.

Along with contract manufacturing, we offer product sampling for new blow molding molds. We are willing to provide a sample production run on new project molds in order to help you determine their functionality. Our team can also offer advice and suggestions for optimizing the mold. Rather than scrapping the mold if it doesn’t work as expected, resulting in a significant investment loss, we can instead recommend design modifications.

Sample runs also allow us to give you feedback concerning cycle time and product quality in a full-scale manufacturing run. When we partner with you, our goal is to support your business and grow alongside you.
